Pumpkin Dump Cake (more like pie rather than a cobbler)

Pumpkin Dump Cake (more like pie rather than a cobbler)

I am not sure of the origin of this recipe - To the creator, thank you!

1.   1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
2.   3 eggs
3.   1/2 c. brown sugar
4.   1/2 c. white sugar
5.   1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
6.   1 tsp. cinnamon
7.   1/2 tsp. ground ginger
8.   1/4 tsp. cloves
9.   1 pkg. yellow cake mix
10. 1/2 c. chopped pecans
11. 1/2 lbs melted butter

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. In a bowl, mix first eight ingredients. Pour into pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top of mixture. Sprinkle pecans over top of cake mix. Drizzle butter all over the mixture.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes; the edges will be brown.

It’s also good warm or cold with Cool Whip on top.  (Personally I recommend homemade whip cream, it is worth the extra few minutes)
