Glazed Carrots

A friend mentioned that the key to great Glazed Carrots is Ginger Ale.  Well I played with the idea for awhile and here is what I came up with.  Let me know what you think.

In a large skillet mix over medium high heat

  • 32oz baby carrots
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1 can of ginger ale
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
Bring to a boil till the soda is reduced.  Mix in:
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp  Nutmeg
