Ooey Gooey Bars

I can not take credit for this recipe, so who ever came up with it...thank you from the bottom of my stomach.

Everyone asks for this recipe. I am embarrassed to give it to them because it is sooooo easy.

This is a good one to experiment with. Sometimes I substitute lemon cake mix for the white cake mix to make easy lemon bars.

Butter (1/2 cup, melted)
Egg (three large)
Package White Cake Mix (the cheaper the better)
Powdered Sugar (1 pound)
Cream Cheese (Softened)

Mix with fork:
Butter, one egg, cake mix.
Flatten in a 9x13 greased pan

Mix until creamy:
Cream cheese, two eggs, powdered sugar
Pour onto the crust

Bake at 325 degrees F for 35 - 45 minutes

Cool (cut into bars before it cools)
Chill for 2 hours
